Why host it here

Everything Minecraft needs. Nothing it does not.

  • Any loader, any version

Paper, Purpur, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or vanilla. Run snapshots, old versions or a proxy like Velocity.

  • Java and Bedrock together

Run Bedrock Dedicated Server, or add Geyser to a Java server so phone and console players can join.

  • NVMe for chunk generation

World saves and new chunk generation hit storage hard. NVMe keeps exploration and autosaves smooth.

  • Backups on your terms

Full file access means you can schedule world backups with Pterodactyl, cron or your own scripts.

Read the docs

How much RAM does a Minecraft server need?

A vanilla or Paper world for up to 10 players runs well on 4 to 6 GB. Plugins and more players push that toward 8 to 10 GB. Large modpacks often want 10 GB or more and benefit from faster cores.

Can Bedrock players join?

Yes. Run Bedrock Dedicated Server on 19132 UDP, or keep a Java server and add the Geyser plugin so Bedrock players connect on 19132 UDP alongside Java on 25565 TCP.

Can I install modpacks from CurseForge or Modrinth?

Yes. You have full root access, so you can upload server packs, use a modpack installer, or let Pterodactyl handle it with the matching egg.

Can I run more than one server on one plan?

Yes, if the plan has the RAM. Many owners run a Velocity proxy with a lobby and survival server on the same VPS. Pterodactyl makes each one its own server.

Will the AI agent manage my server?

It can install Java, set up a systemd service, change server.properties and read crash logs over SSH, showing every command it runs. AI usage is billed separately.
