How it works

From checkout to signed in.

    On the create screen choose DirectAdmin instead of a bare OS. The list only offers apps the plan has room for.

    The server installs it

    DirectAdmin is installed on the OS as a control panel. The install finishes a few minutes after first boot.

    Sign in

    Sign in as admin with the password shown in your dashboard, then add your licence inside the panel.

Do I need a licence for DirectAdmin?

Yes. The DirectAdmin licence is not included in the plan. Bring the key you already own and add it inside the panel after you sign in. A licence is bound to the server address, so moving the server later means rebinding it with your provider.

Can I still use the server for other things?

Yes. The server is a normal VM with full root access. DirectAdmin is a head start, not a lock-in.

Who keeps DirectAdmin updated?

You do: DirectAdmin runs on your own server, so you update it the way DirectAdmin recommends, when it suits you. The AI agent on the server can run the update for you from chat.

Can the AI agent manage DirectAdmin?

Yes. The agent runs on the same server, so it can update, restart, back up or troubleshoot DirectAdmin from chat.
